Job Description:
Our client, an award-winning interior design consultancy, is seeking a Accounts Assistant to join their team in Windsor, Berkshire.
To apply for this role, you’ll need experience with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks.
This brand-new opportunity involves working within the finance department to assist in adhering to processes, controls, and systems within the business.
As Accounts Assistant, your tasks include:
* Managing accounts receivable and credit control, including chasing debtors and supplier queries
* Processing and logging purchase and sales invoices in Sage
* Performing daily bank reconciliations and monthly supplier statement reconciliations
* Supporting monthly management reporting and end-of-month processes
* Assisting Contract Managers with CVR updates
* Managing expenses, VAT calculations, and weekly payment runs
* Acting as point of contact for external auditors during the annual audit
* Assisting with finance process improvements and efficiencies
* Providing cover for the Accounts Assistant
* Filing invoices and statements
* Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks is essential
