What you can expect to do: The role of Support Worker is really varied, it can be anything from helping individuals to learn and develop life skills to helping with their day to day living. At this Service you will be supporting a female 2-1 support daily and 2-1 at night, person we support has high needs including Fully Hoist dependant, needs a driver to enable to go out and be part of the community, attending appointments, family visits. High support needs with Nutrition and Hydration, AM is peg fed. High personal care needs. She enjoys listening to music, clothes shopping, seeing her family, pamper sessions always has beautiful nails this is important to her, going for a drive she has her own vehichle. Duties will include: Helping to provide structure and routine as well as giving encouragement, guidance and support on a daily basis. Supporting with jobs around the house such as cooking and cleaning. Personal care when needed. Helping to support when going out into the community. What we need from you: We are not looking for specific skills or experience as we provide full training, however excellent communication and people skills are a must Most of our roles involve elements of weekend and evening work as well as sleep in shifts (for which you will be paid) which means flexibility is required.
