Job summary We are looking to recruit a Maternity Support Worker for the Thanet Community Midwifery team. The successful applicant will be motivated, able to work independently as well as within a team and strive to provide exceptional care to women throughout the pregnancy continuum. Main duties of the job An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the East Kent Trust, Thanet community team to support the midwives in their provision of woman centered, midwife led care. This is an excellent opportunity for professional and personal development for those who want the experience of working in a flexible service. It is essential that applicants have the basic level of competency identified in the personal specification. The successful applicant will be a crucial member of the maternityteam providing clinical support to women and babies as well asclerical, administrative, general housekeeping and other supportive roles within the midwifery service.
