About the role
The Digital and Creative Media Department offers a range of inclusive, industry-standard curricula in Information Technology (Computing), Games Design, and Esports. We are seeking a motivated, tech-savvy individual with skills across all these areas to join our well-established team, contributing to the department as a whole and delivering high-quality education to learners at various levels. In this role, you will deliver engaging and impactful lessons that equip learners with the skills and knowledge they need for their next steps in the lifelong learning sector. You will work collaboratively with Programme Leaders and the Head of Area to ensure sessions are meaningful, effective, and aligned with the department's mission to achieve success and strive for excellence.
About the person
The successful candidate will need to have a minimum Level 3 qualification within the Digital sector and industry experience. Furthermore, you will need to be confident, self-motivated, able to promote a positive learning environment that will ensure learners are actively developing in their skills. You must also be highly organised, have computational thinking skills and be people oriented and professional. Alongside that, it would be essential you have teaching qualification such as PTLLS, PGCE or other relevant teaching experience.
