About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Services Engineer.
As a member of the Facilities team, you will proactively support the Facilities leadership team in all operational aspects of air conditioning and refrigeration. This role supports the entire resort and at times will require you to work with internal and external service providers. The work will also involve planned and un-planned work across the estate. You will be tasked with performing planned and reactive service, breakdown, and fault-finding tasks to both air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
You will be undertaking planned and reactive service & maintenance of equipment using your own experience and initiative operating in a professional environment, keeping guest & back of house areas maintained so everything about us is safe and secure at all times, ensuring safe environments and working practices are maintained at all times.
All work carried out by yourself and the team whether planned or reactive are required to be finished to a high professional level with minimum disruption to our Guests. Good clear communication with the leadership team is essential to ensure a smooth working environment and as little disruption to our guests as possible.
Relevant tools and equipment are all provided. Typical working hours cover five days over seven shift pattern that includes weekends and evenings at times.
About You
You should be able to demonstrate experience in working in a maintenance environment within a refrigeration or air conditioning specialism. We would consider a current recognised F Gas qualification, a City and Guilds 2079 or CITB J11 Certificate in Safe Handling of Refrigerants or similar industry recognised qualifications. If you have heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) Part P Electrical or City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition (or industry recognised qualifications).
You should hold a valid full UK driving licence and experience working on a variety of systems, including but not limited to Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Toshiba, Daikin would be desirable.
You will have the ability to prioritise work and work to deadlines and have working knowledge and experience of relevant regulations and H&S procedures.
You should have good communication skills and take pride in detailed record keeping. You should hold a professional and positive approach at all times in the working environment and enjoy working both as part of a team and individually.
