We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead and oversee various projects within our client's organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in development and project management, and with a good understanding of government grants and funding processes for businesses, you must also have the ability to effectively communicate and analyse project requirements. Some travelling will be involved so a driving licence is essential.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage technical projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
Oversee release management processes, ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards before deployment.
Analyse project data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Create and manage test cases to ensure thorough testing of all project outputs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any issues that arise.
Experience
Must have experience with the grants process, EU grants, Innovate UK, Gov UK etc.
Proven experience in a Technical Project Manager role within a technology-focused environment - automotive / marine / aerospace.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in managing diverse teams effectively.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word for documentation purposes is essential.
