The Opportunity:
Are you our next Engineering Stores Person. We are looking for someone who can help us redefine what's possible for are our Engineering Stores team.
As part of our ‘Grow with Gatwick' initiative you'll be provided with plenty of training and support to ensure you're developing and growing your career.
What's the role?
In this role, you will assist our Engineering Stores Manager to deliver a safe, efficient, and resilient Engineering Stores function for Gatwick Airport. You will be managing stock and purchasing the Engineering and Fleet spares. You will be a key part of the team responsible for ensuring that assets are ready to support our customers across Gatwick Airport.
What you'll be doing?
* Accept, check and confirm supplier stock deliveries into Engineering Stores.
* Issue stock to customers and deliver across campus to various departments.
* Check and replenish Main and Forward stores areas.
* Carry out physical stock and cycle counting processes.
* Update systems (SAP and Ultimo) to consume stock issues and make corrections as required.
* Maintain clean and tidy stores.
* On call duties for out of hours Stores cover.
Do you have what we're looking for?
* Great team player.
* Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
* Excellent communication skills, able to connect with stakeholders across all levels.
* Full UK driving licence
* Experience of stock management
* Familiar with working in a warehouse
* Forklift Licence, Reach and Counterbalance RTIB Licence holder (desirable)
