Stores Manager - Electrical Wholesale

We are currently recruiting for a proactive and experienced Stores Manager to join a respected and long-established Electrical Wholesaler based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of internal operations and support the continued growth of a busy branch.

The Role:
Working closely with Senior Management, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, focusing on team leadership, customer service, and efficient stock management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage stock levels, incoming deliveries, and general store organisation
2. Lead and motivate the internal team to deliver excellent customer service
3. Maintain strong relationships with both customers and suppliers
4. Serve customers at the trade counter with efficiency and professionalism
5. Handle large customer accounts and coordinate with the external sales team
6. Ensure the branch is clean, safe, and compliant at all times
7. Carry out keyholding duties as part of the management team
8. Maintain a high level of electrical product knowledge and industry awareness
What We're Looking For:
1. 3 years' experience in electrical wholesaling (essential)
2. Strong product knowledge and understanding of supplier/contractor networks
3. Background in stock control and internal team management
4. Strong organisational and communication skills
5. A team player with a proactive, hands-on approach
6. Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
7. Previous management or supervisory experience (preferred)
