Job Description: Security Engineer/Technician Position: Senior Security Engineer/Technician Package: 45,000 Additional Benefits: Door-to-door travel Location: Yorkshire We are seeking a technically proficient Security Engineer/Technician with a CCTV bias to join our clients team. This role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining security systems, with a primary focus on CCTV systems, networking, switches, and server setups. You will play a critical role in ensuring our systems function effectively, primarily within prison environments and other nationwide sites. Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, servicing, and maintenance of CCTV systems, with a focus on Avigilon systems. Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults in security systems. Work with networking equipment, including switches and servers. Participate in a 1-in-7 on-call rota for nationwide coverage, receiving £75 retainer per on-call week and double time for call-outs outside standard working hours. Travel door-to-door, with additional compensation for early and late hours worked. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience as a Security Engineer/Technician with a CCTV bias. Strong knowledge of networking, switches, and servers. Familiarity with Avigilon CCTV systems is highly desirable. ECS Gold Card certification is preferred. Technically minded with excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel nationwide and participate in the on-call rota. Working Hours: Standard hours are 8:00 to 17:00.
