Working Pattern: 7-day rota including some weekends and bank holidays

The difference you will make as a Project Assistant (Supported Housing)
This role is based at Salford Assisted Supported Housing (SASH). You will be key in the day-to-day running, prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of everyone in our accommodation, including our customers.
Working with customers over 18 experiencing homelessness and complex needs such as addiction and mental health, you could be supporting them in conversations with GPs, Social Services, or Benefits teams, and dealing with emergency services when needed.
You’ll log all incidents to maintain an accurate record of events and clean and prepare customer rooms when they leave, ready for the next occupant.
About you
We are looking for someone with:
* Experience supporting homeless customers and good administration skills
* Experience of working with people in a customer-facing environment
* An understanding of supporting vulnerable people, which may include lived experience of homelessness or addiction

Role Profile

* Assisting in the planning and delivery of personalised support and move-on plans
* Understanding the risk management process and assisting the team to organise regular reviews of support and risk
* Inspiring and motivating customers to meet agreed outcomes and develop life skills
* Assisting customers with day-to-day support and tenancy-related matters
* Identifying and promoting opportunities for employment, education, and training
* Signposting customers to external support services
* Supporting customers to be tenancy ready
* Helping customers achieve financial independence through budgeting plans
* Monitoring customers’ healthcare needs
* Empowering customers to manage their medication
* Maintaining accurate records on the appropriate digital platform

Person Specification
Essential
* Experience of working with vulnerable client groups
* Experience of delivering structured support in housing or social care
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn specific IT systems
