The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization is leading the effort to create the desired customer experience through support offer creation, driving digital transformation across our tools, and delivering operational excellence across CE&S.

To help drive this effort, Microsoft is investing in the creation of a Customer Success dedicated team that will play a key role in helping Microsoft customers achieve this digital transformation through successful adoption of Microsoft Cloud solution and Services.
The Customer Success team will drive change management and adoption activities with key business decision makers and IT decision makers, helping reduce implementation risk, driving usage of existing solutions, and identifying opportunities to accelerate the path for customers to realize business value from their investments.
We are looking for a highly motivated Azure Infrastructure Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) in our Global Customer Success organization. This pivotal role is customer-facing and encompasses a broad range of responsibilities mainly focusing on Migrations to Azure Platform. You will own the Azure infrastructure technical customer engagements providing subject matter expertise including architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects and/or pilots. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management, and Developers to drive core Infrastructure solutions and Datacenter migrations. You will be implementing technical strategies for customer success, driving upskilling initiatives, guiding field teams in technical execution, and actively contributing to IP creation. Your role extends to fostering collaboration across groups for the development of customer-ready content. You will act as a linchpin between field teams and the Global Customer Success organization. You will collaborate closely with the Product group to integrate the latest advancements. Drive high priority customer initiatives in collaboration with customers and in the Microsoft field. This is also a customer-facing role, responsible for providing end-to-end technical guidance and expertise. Qualifications
* Deep domain expertise of cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e. Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers and/or Infra as a code technology, AVD, AVS), breadth of technical experience, and technical aptitude to learn and adjust to new technologies and/or cloud trends required.
* Experience and understanding of large-scale infrastructure deployments and Migrations in enterprise-wide environments required.
* Experience in consultative, Migration, Modernization, and deployment projects (where necessary, managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects) required.
* Experience working with large complex enterprise accounts architecting cloud solutions and supporting large scale migrations.
* Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives and growing data services in large or highly strategic accounts.
* Acknowledged for making decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow-through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management, and developers).
Responsibilities
* Understand customers’ overall infrastructure estate, IT and business priorities, and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions).
* Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a Migration, Modernization roadmap and architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, orchestrating key resources and infusing key infrastructure technologies (e.g. Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, AVD, AVS).
* Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates.
* Maintain and advance deep technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights, and share within the technical community.
* Be a Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with the Engineering team to remove key blockers.
* Be an Azure Platform evangelist with customers, partners, and external communities.
* Assess the Customers' knowledge of the Azure platform and overall cloud readiness to support customers through a structured learning plan and ensure its delivery through partners.
