Retail Data and Reporting Analyst Apprentice Location: England (Candidates must reside in England) Hours: 35 per week Contract Type: 18 Months Apprenticeship including end point assessment Salary: £20,820.80 per annum based on 35 hours per week In collaboration with Cambridge Spark, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated person to join our Data Analyst Level 4 apprenticeship scheme. You will complete a 14-month apprenticeship, followed by an End Point Assessment. You will dedicate approximately six hours per week to off-the-job learning, whilst sharing learning progress with colleagues to drive continuous improvement. You will help build and manage data processes for use in data products for retail teams. You will ensure their accuracy, efficiency and reliability to meet the evolving needs of retail operations. What does the role of a Data and Reporting Analyst Apprentice involve? Contributing to the processing of data to our cloud-based data platform, by uploading additional data, appending new data to records or updating existing dimensions. Providing recommendations to the team based on analysis of results and subject matter knowledge. Querying our data platform to identify, collect and clean data to help solve retail business problems. Supporting the Data & Reporting Manager with standalone report writing, and with BI dashboard development. Troubleshooting issues raised by the team and working with team members across multiple departments where necessary to resolve in a timely manner. Undertaking training and personal development to upskill in data, reporting and analysis using apprenticeship materials and other available resources. Travel within UK may be required. To be a successful Data and Reporting Analyst Apprentice, what will y ou need? To be driven and self-motivated when it comes to personal development and upskilling in order to keep up with developments and trends in the world of data. An ability to digest business problems and a willingness to learn how to approach problem solving with data. Great interpersonal communication skills to help translate complex scenarios with different stakeholders, both technical and non-technical. An understanding of retail business operations. Proficient numeracy skills and a basic understanding of statistical principles. Ability to manage own time well to ensure deadlines are met. Experience using Microsoft 365 products. To be resident in England. Applicants with qualifications at degree level or above in Data or Computer Science will unfortunately not be eligible for this apprentice role.
