Work Location: Elizabeth II Court, Winchester (Hybrid Working)
Hours per week: 37
Contract Type: Permanent
Closing Date: 29 September 2024
The Role:
Joining our Financial Assessments and Benefits team as a Senior Administrative Assistant, you’ll develop your career in administration and finance, whilst making a real difference to the lives of Hampshire residents.
Our small team offers a supportive, encouraging, and inclusive space, so you can be yourself at work and bring your own unique life experience. We really value the different strengths and knowledge that everyone brings to our fantastic team.
In this key role, you’ll use your first-class organisational and administrative skills, together with your strong attention to detail to help administer financial assessments to determine how much clients are required to contribute towards the cost of care services provided by Hampshire County Council. You’ll also process completed statements of financial circumstances forms and review/verify financial information to ensure accuracy.
Using your excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach, you’ll contact clients by phone and email to book appointments for our Assessment Officers, provide outcomes of financial assessments with clarity, and manage queries from both clients and colleagues.
This is a hybrid working role, therefore you’ll have the flexibility to work from home or from our office in Winchester. There is currently a minimum requirement of one day per week office presence. You’ll need to be confident in working independently and be able to use your IT skills to embrace digital technology. We currently use CareDirector and an online booking system; therefore, your knowledge and experience in these systems is advantageous.
