Who we need & What you’ll bring
We are looking for Learning Facilitators to join the College’s Learning Centre & Libraries team on a part-time basis, with working hours & pattern to be agreed individually with candidates due to multiple opportunities being available. You will be based at one College Campus; however, the role will require you to work at various other College campuses depending on the service needs. You will be providing direct support for learning to all College students, both face to face in the library and online, facilitating both planned and independent learning opportunities. Working closely with the Learning Technology Team, you’ll be the ‘go to’ person for support within the Learning Resource Centres & Library (LRC) for digital learning, taking the lead on digital initiatives, projects, and promoting the use of new technologies.
The role will also include assisting in the smooth delivery of the Learning Resource Centre & Library (LRC) service by performing routine administrative duties and system admin duties effectively and efficiently.
Good communication and organisational skills are needed in this role, which will require the development of positive working relationships with students and staff and the ability to respond to situations effectively.
