Luke Malin Academics is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in Crawley. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and challenge students through dynamic and high-quality science lessons. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for science among students. Depending on experience and subject expertise, there may also be opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 (A-Level). Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic science lessons that engage and challenge students. Teach across the secondary curriculum, specializing in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics as required. Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure attainment and achievement. Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation. Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Science or a related subject. Experience teaching science at secondary level in the UK (KS3 & KS4; KS5 desirable). Strong classroom management skills. Desirable Skills & Experience: Experience teaching A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
