We are looking for an ICT Helpdesk Assistant to join our ICT team in Grange Park, Northampton on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is pivotal to our success and ongoing growth plans and is ideal for someone with a background in IT and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities: Provide first-level technical support to our staff members, both remotely and on-site across our 6 offices in Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Higham Ferrers, Wellingborough and Leicester. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software. Set up, configure, repair and install hardware, software, and other related equipment. Monitor and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and solutions. Provide technical support for staff members with IT-related issues. Identify and recommend opportunities for system and process improvements. Assist the ICT Systems Trainer in the creation of training materials including presentations, tutorials, videos, and hands-on exercises. Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies. Requirements: Previous experience in a helpdesk or technical support role supporting Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Office 365 would be preferred. Familiarity with IT hardware and software. Able to demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Good organisation skills. Proficiency in supporting Office 365 applications (User, Groups, Azure AD, and MFA) would be preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle, as there will be a need to travel to our other sites in Northamptonshire and Leicester when required.
