Paeds OT Band 7
Are you a people person? Are you interested in progressing your career within the healthcare setting? Are you motivated, enthusiastic, and an excellent communicator? If yes, then this may be an ideal opportunity for you to join our friendly and supportive Occupational Therapy team at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells Trust.
Due to developments within the paediatric service, we have a new opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic, and motivated Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join the orthopaedic paediatric team.
The Occupational Therapy service for paediatric orthopaedics currently consists of a 0.4 band 6, focusing on pre-assessment intervention within elective orthopaedics and post-op assessment and treatment of both elective and trauma patients.
This is an exciting part-time opportunity for a proactive and driven Band 7 to enhance our current provision with a particular focus on promoting and developing the OT role within orthopaedic paediatrics, identifying areas for future growth and implementing innovative service improvements.
We would welcome an experienced paediatric occupational therapist with a keen eye for quality improvement and evidence-based care. You will need to have a flexible approach, be resourceful, and enthusiastic in demonstrating the impact and added value that Occupational Therapy brings to the pathways. Excellent time management, resilience, and prioritisation skills are essential for delivery of an efficient and effective service.
