Job Summary: The M&E Clerk of Works (Mechanical and Electrical) is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality, standards, and compliance of mechanical and electrical installations on a construction project. The role involves site inspection, monitoring contractor performance, verifying material specifications, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols, and providing detailed reports on site conditions and progress. The M&E Clerk of Works will work closely with project teams, contractors, and quality control personnel to ensure that the M&E aspects of the project are executed according to design specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. Some jobs projects require weekly visits, some daily and some bi-weekly. Our Clerk of Works manage their own diary and hours. Skills: Strong understanding of M&E systems, installation standards, and building codes. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify non-conformances in installations. Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with contractors, clients, and project teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office and report-writing skills
