Job Description
An exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join this expanding family business with enormous potential for growth and progression.
Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, office based role with parking.
Finance Manager responsibilities include acting as the foundation of the company's bookkeeping operation, monitoring all account transactions and checking all outgoing and incoming funds. Function as key lead to the business for accounts, payroll, and broad support to the business.
Other Finance Manager duties and responsibilities include:
1. Preparing and reviewing ledger balances and monthly accounts.
2. Completing data for the company tax returns.
3. Collating and preparing documentation for year-end accounts.
4. Functioning as operational contact with group accountants.
5. Preparing and submitting information for VAT returns and National Insurance contributions.
6. Managing overall company expenses.
7. Maintaining and monitoring the company’s financial systems.
8. Managing monthly company payroll and general account queries.
9. Preparing monthly financial statements.
10. Maintaining a record of all receipts and payments.
11. Acting as a point of contact for all internal and external financial issues.
12. Hands-on approach to making payments to customers and external businesses.
Requirements and skills to be successful as the Finance Manager:
1. Proven accounting experience and hold a CIMA qualification.
2. Strong leadership skills.
3. Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
4. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
