About the Role
Douglas Scott are working with a leading national law firm who are seeking an experienced Employment Law Paralegal to join their Leeds office. This is an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic Employment team, handling both contentious and non-contentious matters for a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, professionals, and corporate entities like the Police Federation of England & Wales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and procedural documents.
2. Assisting with Employment Tribunal case preparation, including bundles, statements, and liaising with Counsel.
3. Conducting legal research and managing a caseload of non-complex matters.
4. Providing initial advice, liaising with clients, and maintaining strong client relationships.
5. Supporting business development initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
1. Minimum 1 year of experience as an employment law paralegal.
2. Strong knowledge of employment law and tribunal processes.
3. Excellent drafting, research, and client communication skills.
4. Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
5. A legal qualification (LLB, LLM, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
