The Role
You'll be based out of Milestones Early Learning Warners Bay while supporting 5 additional services across the Newcastle and Hunter Valley region. You will love the challenge of leading a team of educators as well as supporting the Senior Operations team!
Provide leadership and operational direction to an Affinity Education Group operated centre and in provide support when needed to our wonderful Area Manager and fellow services when needed. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Centre Manager wanting to join a rapidly growing company looking for the next step in your career.
In addition to a dedicated Operations team, you’ll be fully supported by a national team including Quality, Education, Facilities, Finance, Human Resources, Safety and Compliance, Marketing and Promotions - just to name a few.
About you
1. Able to work full-time, Mon-Fri (monthly RDO negotiable)
2. A natural leader, committed to realising the potential of others
3. Driven to provide exceptional quality while delivering financial results which ensure our centre can operate sustainably
4. Loves building long-lasting connections with your local community, families and the children in your care
5. Experienced in achieving targets and meeting safety and compliance standards
6. Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
7. Will lead centre to Meet and Exceed National Quality Standards
You have:
8. A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
9. 5yr experience leading a large service or area
10. Experienced in achieving targets and meeting safety and compliance standard
11. A current Working with Children’s Check
12. Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
About the Role
13. $90k - $100k a year + uniform + PD
14. Guiding and managing business performance of the service
15. Coaching and mentoring both Centre Leadership Teams
16. Supporting with Marketing and occupancy growth
17. Work closely and collaboratively with Area Manager
18. Support with Quality and Education of the service
