Hybrid role from Preston head office.
Full time, permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday (5) days or Part time, permanent, 21 or 28 hours per week, three (3) or four (4) days.

Are you an ace at handling finances with precision and efficiency?
You will work within the finance team ensuring all duties are dealt with in a timely manner, keeping to role-specific deadlines, and communicating clearly at all times, ensuring smooth operations across matter management and treasury teams.
Day to day you will have a variety of treasury duties including daily and monthly bank reconciliations, processing monies coming into the bank account, posting outgoing monies, BACS payments, disbursements, direct debit and standing orders.
You will also be involved with Matter Management duties such as daily banking, bills, credit notes, write-offs, and client to office transfers.
We also have a finance helpdesk which requires dealing with queries from our colleagues and maintain a high level of service.
Ideally you have worked in legal cashier role or similar finance, treasury or accounts related position.
Your knowledge of SRA rules and experience with the Proclaim case management system would be a distinct advantage.
However if you are willing to acquire an in-depth understanding of the practical application of SRA rules then we can support you in that learning.
What is essential in this role is the ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines, time management and excellent customer service to resolve queries efficiently and communicate professionally.

In terms of location and hybrid working. You are comfortable working in our Preston head office for two days in person alongside your finance team colleagues. This is a hybrid role, not a remote role. We have an appreciation that spending time with our colleagues is valuable. If you live close to the Preston office, you can spend time working from our head office and you are also welcome to use any of our other 5 offices across Lancashire, Merseyside and Cumbria. Our Preston head office is centrally located within walking distance of train and bus stations.
