n exceptional Planning & Projects Officer to take on our divisional committee secretary duties and team administration support for 9 months maternity cover. The role would be highly suitable for somebody with experience in the university who is looking to develop their skills in working with university governance, projects and general administration. About the Role You will be a member of the planning & projects team within the Social Sciences Divisional Office, reporting to the Senior Planning and Projects Manager, as well as supporting the wider Planning and Projects team, including the strategic Head of the team. You will be coordinating and disseminating senior committee papers for our Divisional Board and Planning and Resources Committee, as well as supporting with a variety of project administration and diary management duties. About You You will provide outstanding professional support while building and maintaining effective working relationships with senior academic and administrative staff in departments and the wider University. While this collaborative approach will be a key feature of your role, you will also be required to work independently, showing initiative in projects and exercising sound judgement and discretion. You will be able to handle a demanding and varied workload, managing your time and prioritising your work effectively and efficiently. You will be an enthusiastic and committed individual who welcomes the opportunity to engage in a range of activities and contribute effectively to a wider team, and is able to respond positively to new challenges.
