Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced SAP Superuser for a leading client based near Keighley.
As part of this role, the successful candidate will split their time equally between supporting the planning function within SAP and ongoing development of the SAP Systems and Master Data.
Suited candidates must have in depth experience using SAP ECC 6.0 with a strong interest in developing systems for the benefit of the wider business. You must also have demonstrable experience working within a Manufacturing/ Engineering environment.

Scope of the role:
The SAP (Super User) Production Planner will be responsible for the following:
The Production Planner will play a pivotal role in enhancing production efficiency, minimizing delays, and ensuring effective collaboration with machine shop planning.
Planning and scheduling all manufactured parts through SAP, to fulfil machine assembly, aftermarket, spares and subcontract requirements to satisfy the needs of the business
Provide critical planning and scheduling support to the frontline Production team
Main duties and responsibilities:
Utilise SAP to extract and analyse live data, developing & continually improving the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) reports that drive crucial operational KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives to facilitate key stakeholder decision making.
Leverage advanced Excel skills to analyse complex datasets and create clear, comprehensive reports and dashboards, ensuring data is presented in an accessible format for stakeholders across the business.
Continually monitor SAP (work in progress) transactional data to ensure aligns with company schedule requirements and production commitments.
Generating Production plans using SAP/EXCEL on a rolling weekly cycle
Support day to day planning activities of materials, conversion of planned orders, processing resources, kitting to optimise operational efficiencies.
Manage, maintain & develop Master Data and the SAP Planning module collaborating with the FLL SAP Analyst to continually drive improvements.
Assist in achieving accurate finite capacity planning by machine in collaboration with the Machine Shop.
Coordinate multiple actions to Production order variances to maintain cost control
Provide up to date completion dates to key stakeholders for all orders
Coordinate overcapacity (bottlenecks) through rephasing requirements in conjunction with all stakeholders
Organise Production orders and manage the system exception messages to prioritise and monitor orders from creation to completion
Support the wider business needs in conjunction with the FLL SAP Analyst as a SAP Super User to continue critical development ahead of SAP improvement projects. Further career development opportunities available to the successful candidate.
Interpret resource/manning plans to use as an input into the Production schedule
Interrogating material masters, engineering change process, routing, production planning tools and stores transactions

Key skills requirements:
Super User of SAP ECC 6.0 and/or HANA, specialising in Production Planning (PP), with ideally some experience in Project Systems (PS).
Advanced Excel Skills: Expertise in using Excel for data analysis, including proficiency with formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization tools such as charts and graphs.
Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, identify trends, that allow operational stakeholders to make successful data-driven decisions.
Attention to Detail: Precision in managing and analysing data to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
Communication Skills: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex data insights and reports to various stakeholders in an understandable format.
Problem-Solving Skills: Aptitude for identifying issues and developing effective solutions within the planning and reporting processes.
Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports.
Knowledge of S&OP Processes: Understanding of Sales & Operations Planning processes and how they can be effectively & efficiently reported to the wider business.
Critical Thinking: Ability to evaluate and improve current processes and systems for better efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaboration: Capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights for reporting.
