Exciting opportunity for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a multinational company that specialises in building automation, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), fire protection, and security solutions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing electronic products for safety systems as part of a dynamic Research & Development team within a world-leading multinational organisation.
The Role:
Design electronic circuits for safety system components and conduct design qualification testing.
Liaise with other departments including Marketing, Software Engineers, Mechanical Designers, Draftsmen, Technical Authors and SQA.
Liaise with Factory Production Engineering and Test Engineering to introduce products into manufacture and maintain existing products.
Liaise with suppliers and service providers, including approvals organisations
May lead small projects: preparing and presenting project plans and proposals; then reporting on progress
Required Experience:
University degree (or equivalent), ideally in electronic engineering.
Senior level professional experience of electronic product development in an R&D environment.
Proven expert experience of digital/microcontroller hardware development.
Proven expert experience of analogue electronics design using a range of bipolar and MOSFET transistors, Op-Amps, passive components, etc.
Experience in the Fire or Security industry would be advantageous.
