Job summary The post holder will work in a Multi Professional Team with psychologists, medical psychotherapist, nurses, Peer Support Workers, administrative staff, Social Worker and Occupational Therapy Assistants. The successful candidate will be individually responsible for a small caseload of patients alongside the day to day running of the team. Strong leadership qualities and an anti-stigma approach are required to fulfil this role. You will take a lead in the development of staff to promote and provide a safe, supportive and effective team to work with this cohort of patients their families and carers. The service uses Structured Clinical Management framework, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Mentalization-based treatment. The team has weekly Reflective Practice alongside clinical and managerial supervision. The post holder will directly line manage the team of mental health practitioners and support workers using the SCM model, DBT and MBT. This post will directly report to the Operational Lead. You will also have responsibility for a small caseload and be part of delivering the SCM model including group facilitation. Main duties of the job You will lead the team in its daily functioning, leading by example and working alongside the team clinically. You will provide line management supervision for the team and support professional development of junior staff. You will form part of the senior team structure and be involved in service development opportunities. You will compete audits and monitor the quality of care delivered to our patients. You will have opportunity to present to other services and be involved in the delivery of training to other staff across the trust. You will be a vital part of the patients journey throughout the Structured Clinical Management treatment program, from Assessment, stabilisation, treatment, graduation and discharge back to their GP. You will see you patients weekly and develop a good therapeutic rapport enabling you to deliver psychologically informed therapies within the framework. You will work Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm excluding bank holidays. You will be co-facilitator in group work such as CNS Skills group.
