Salary: £35,218 per annum, plus 1 in 2 callout /standby allowance of £4,829.50 per annum, weekend daily checks only paid at overtime rate and Veolia benefits.
Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday- Friday, 8 am till 4 pm, also being on a 1 in 2 callout Rota. Weekend daily testing: 2 hours every other weekend.

What you'll be doing:
* Covering all electrical inspections and testing at the Boilerhouse, also covering at the ETP plant when the other on-site electrician is on holiday.
* Installing, inspecting, and testing all electrical systems and components.
* Troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment.
* Installing and maintaining control panels
* Maintaining and repairing electrical boiler equipment and all associated components.
* Assisting in Boiler water testing and annual stripdowns and rebuilds on the boilers.
* Keeping detailed records of inspections, electrical maintenance routines, and repairs.
* Ensuring compliance with state and local safety regulations and guidelines.
* Managing the electrical inventory and other consumables necessary for boiler electrical operation.
* Enable the Installation of electrical systems in an industrial environment
* Good fault-finding skills
* Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
* Ensure all work is in accordance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
* Working on a 1 in 2 rota to ensure the boilerhouse is operating 24 hours 7 days a week.
What we're looking for:
* Excellent organisation skills, ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively, and willingness to develop and learn new skills.
* Able to work under initiative, be proactive and work efficiently as part of a team.
* Confident communicator
* Willingness to work flexibly to meet business demands.
* Professional certification in boiler operation would be an advantage
* Understanding of boiler systems, mechanics, and safety standards.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
* Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Flexibility to work weekends and availability for emergency call-outs.
* Electrical Qualifications - Inspection and testing (2391 or 2394/5)
* 1, 2, or 3 diploma or Level 3 NVQ qualification in electrical installations and experience needed.
* 18th Edition certification
* IOSH or passport to safety (operational).
* Working with steam pressure systems (operational).
