Are you an organised and proactive administrative professional? We’re recruiting for a Logistics and Procurement Coordinator to join a construction contractor working on the prestigious Sizewell C project.
About the Role
As a Logistics and Procurement Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the seamless delivery of this large-scale project. Working with project teams, suppliers, and contractors, you’ll ensure the efficient procurement of materials and services while managing logistics to maintain timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing materials
2. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
3. Oversee logistics operations to ensure efficient transportation and storage of materials
4. Monitor and manage stock levels, placing orders as required to avoid delays
5. Collaborate with project teams to forecast procurement needs and provide updates on progress
6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
7. Maintain accurate records of all procurement and logistics activities
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
1. Proven experience in logistics, procurement or administration (construction experience isn't essential)
2. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
3. Strong communication skills
4. A proactive and solutions focused mindset
5. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
