Job Description A message to you technically minded Architects or Senior Architectural Technicians- I've just taken on a fantastic permanent position that could be the one Salary is circa £50,000, possibly a bit more for the right number of years and experience behind them. I'm assisting an established, nationwide practice, in their search to add some technical prowess to the business. This is purely a RIBA stage 4 & 5 position, so we're talking quality detailing packages, a good level of site experience, communicating between clients, contractors and engineers, problem solving on site, working to tight deadlines and producing tender packages. It's a real nuts and bolts opportunity that could be well suited to an experienced Architectural Technician with at least 5 years industry experience or indeed a technical Architect who's been focusing on the RIBA stages 4 & 5. Your experience on site is high on the list of importance for this role. The current projects are very interesting- 2 high rise residential towers in and around London. Any prior experience of working on high-rise schemes would be hugely beneficial or large scale residential developments. It should be stressed that the company in question work across a wide variety of sectors and this position is not limited to residential towers. Their also working on a number of large scale Commercial and hospitality schemes, largely in the UK however with a few international schemes as well. The company use both Revit and AutoCAD. If you're a pure AutoCAD user then you will certainly still be considered. Of course fluency with both would be advantageous but a good technically minded AutoCAD user won't slip the net purely down to software. This is an urgent position. The London office is expanding by more than one so there are multiple positions for the above type of individual. Interviews are taking place in a few weeks with a start date for late October/early November ideally. There a known name in certain sectors and cities within the UK with a good level of benefits to be considered, including an attractive hybrid policy of 2 days from home after the initial bedding in period.
