We are partnered with a forward thinking, modern UK based law firm who are on the look out for an EA to support their team in Birmingham. As an EA you will be part of the Corporate and Commercial National Service Line, supporting the Head of Construction and 4-5 additional lawyers in the construction, engineering, and energy disputes team. You will be working closely with Team Leaders and Regional Managers and utilising resources like the Document Production team, Administrative Assistants, and Business Services. You’ll have the flexibility to structure your day but will also be an essential team member. Key Responsibilities Organise and attend meetings, manage travel arrangements, and maintain business development calendars. Coordinate events, networking, and client outreach Provide proactive client service, maintaining accurate client data, performing conflict checks, and creating legal documents. Arrange and manage diary appointments with necessary preparations and reminders. Prepare client invoices, track expenses, and coordinate with finance and legal professionals on billing matters. Prioritise and delegate tasks, manage inboxes, update client spreadsheets, and communicate effectively with lawyers and support teams to meet deadlines and ensure quality work. Key Qualities Experience in professional services and ideally supporting lawyers or similar professionals. Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work well across teams and independently. Essential Skills Confidence in setting and prioritising tasks. Strong verbal and written communication, excellent attention to detail, and teamwork. Ability to build and sustain relationships with internal and external clients.
