Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer will provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on various pump systems including submersible, hydraulic, diesel engines, electric motors, and other similar pump solutions at customer sites in and around the Liverpool. Full product training provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer will ideally have a mechanic and or mechanical service background in mechanical engineering products such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pipework, filtration, plant machinery and or similar mechanical engineering equipment.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Role
Provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on various pump systems including submersible, hydraulic, diesel engines, electric motors, gearboxes and other similar pump solutions.
The Mechanical Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance at customer sites across the Liverpool / Manchester area.
Installing pump systems and pipework into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various pump equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Requirements
Mechanical service background in mechanical engineering products such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pipework, filtration, plant machinery and or similar mechanical engineering equipment.
Will hold an Engineering Qualification of at least a Level 2 NVQ.
Proven Mechanics from within the vehicle / automotive industry are encouraged to apply.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Hydraulic Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or similar.
The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
Willingness to work out of the workshop in Liverpool and visit customer sites in the surrounding area
