Job summary Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking to recruit a Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine. Successful candidates will join a team of 10 consultants cross-county. They will run and develop acute/ hot respiratory clinics and provide clinical oversight to the cross county virtual ward service. The department would be particularly keen to receive applications from consultants with a COPD interest but most other sub-specialty areas can be accommodated with modification of the proposed job plan accordingly. The post includes a general medical oncall commitment. As a Trust we are actively involved in developing the training program for students from the Three Counties Medical School based in Worcester which opened in September 2023. We look forward to establishing links with the new Medical School in addition to well-established relationships with the University of Birmingham and the University of Warwick.
