The Community Staff Nurse is responsible for the delivery of prescribed nursing care to patients on a day-to-day basis. This would include the holistic assessment of patient care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based care.
The post holder will be autonomous in their clinical practice while acknowledging their limitations and actively seek advice as necessary.
We are able to support two newly qualified Nurses within our team with a named working mentor, PTHB preceptorship program and a very supportive team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join the Llandrindod Wells District Nursing Team. We welcome new registrants and experienced staff who share our values, who want to consolidate new skills and learning within a fully supportive and individualized preceptorship program. We need somebody who is caring, sympathetic and able to learn new skills with excellent communication skills and an attitude that ensures the highest standard of care for our patients. We have permanent roles to offer on a full and part-time basis.
Any successful applicants will be supported by the clinical lead. Your personal development plan will be tailored to your individual need based on your experience and transferable skills. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh applicants are equally welcome to apply.
