Digital Services Asset & Licence Manager

Are you a professional with a passion for managing digital assets and software in an IT environment? Do you have experience overseeing asset lifecycles, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements? This is your chance to make a real impact.
We are looking for a Digital Services Asset & Licence Manager to join our Digital, Data & Technology (DDaT) division. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing all digital assets, software, and licenses, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to industry standards.
What You’ll Do:
1. Asset & Licence Management: Own and address asset-related queries, manage asset tagging, and monitor stock to ensure proper inventory tracking and alignment with systems.
2. SACM Strategy & Process: Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) strategy and processes.
3. Software Library & Compliance: Maintain and organise the Digital Services Software Library (DSSL), ensuring all software is distributed and licensed in accordance with established policies.
4. Supplier Collaboration: Work with external partners to ensure service standards are met and lead audits to maintain compliance.
5. Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement, proactively identifying and implementing process optimisations for asset management.
6. Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Digital Services at various internal and external meetings, providing input and guidance on asset management and licensing issues.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience: Proven experience managing IT assets and software licenses, with a background in ITIL processes and SACM implementation.
2. Skills: Strong organisational skills, clear communication, and a keen attention to detail.
3. Knowledge: Solid understanding of Digital Services technologies, asset lifecycle management, and IT service management.
4. Qualifications: ITIL Foundation certification or relevant experience in IT service management.
