Job Title: Global Audit Operations Manager

Controls Audit and Risk Excellence (CARE) is a key component of Diageo's governance framework, promoting the improvement of governance, risk management, controls, and compliance by:
1. Giving independent assurance over the quality of management of key risks.
2. Supporting Diageo to enforce clear standards on governance, risk management controls, and compliance, and to maintain excellent management assurance processes.
3. Supporting the Audit Committee and Executive management to understand Diageo's key risks and risk management activity across the business.
The role will be a part of a global, diverse, and inclusive team of approximately 60+ individuals based across hubs including London, New York City, Bangalore, Budapest, Bogota, and Shanghai.
Minimum Qualifications:
* CA / MBA / ACCA/ CPA / CIA or other equivalent degrees
* Minimum 10 years of work experience
* Good understanding of Audit (Statutory / Internal), and/or SOX, Risk management processes
* Excellent written and presentation skills
* A collaborative approach
* Strong project management skills
* Ability to work independently and proactively drive tasks through to completion
* Ability to use technology to drive efficiencies
* Ability to work across cultures
* Ability to prioritise, move with urgency, and overcome challenges/obstacles
Key Responsibilities:
* Producing papers for various Committees/key partners including the Audit Committee, CFO, AC Chair, etc.
* Knowledge management for the Global CARE Team (Charter, Policies, Procedures, WOW)
* Audit calendar and resource & capacity planning
* Defining and tracking KPIs for all value streams (audit, controls, and risk)
* GRC Tool management for CARE (Archer/other)
* Supporting new tool acquisition & implementation
* Monitoring and helping drive initiatives to improve CARE processes through the use of KPIs
* Audit report communication
* Governance over AC/ARC papers
* Budget/AOP Monitoring
* Managing 3rd party resourcing (Sourcing, monitoring, billing, and assessment)
* Managing organisational charts and oversight on open positions/recruiting
* Monthly CARE meetings and communications
* Internal & external communications including the Business Insight paper
* Support on the continuous CARE Learning Agenda
