Position Overview:
We are seeking a commercially focused and results-driven National Account Director to lead and grow our key retail and distribution accounts across the UK. This senior commercial role is responsible for managing high-value client relationships, developing account strategies, and delivering sustained sales growth in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow key national retail accounts, ensuring delivery of revenue, margin, and growth targets.
• Develop strategic account plans to drive distribution, visibility, and promotional activity across major retail partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across buying, merchandising, and marketing teams.
• Lead annual negotiations, joint business planning, and commercial agreements with national accounts.
• Collaborate with internal departments including Marketing, Operations, and Product Development to deliver on customer expectations.
• Analyse sales performance, market trends, and customer data to identify growth opportunities and optimise account strategies.
• Monitor and manage trade spend, promotional effectiveness, and stock levels to ensure profitability.
• Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.
• Represent Laurelle London at trade shows, retailer meetings, and industry events as needed.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in managing national accounts, ideally within the fragrance, beauty, or FMCG sector.
• Strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of the UK retail landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to grow key accounts and deliver commercial results.
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident in handling commercial data and reports.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and cross-functionally.
• Experience working with major UK high street and/or grocery retailers is highly desirable.
