Job Duties:
1. Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities. 2. Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students. 3. Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help. 4. Help with classroom management and behaviour monitoring. 5. Prepare educational materials and resources as needed. 6. Supervise students during break times and outings. 7. Assist in assessing and recording student progress. 8. Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student development.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching assistant qualification. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well in a team environment. - Good organisational skills.
Education:
GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths.
Experience:
Prior experience working in an educational setting is desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of child development principles. - Familiarity with classroom technology and resources. - Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students. - Patience and empathy when working with children.
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification. - Safeguarding training.
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily takes place within a school setting. - Full-time hours, Monday to Friday. - May involve some physical activity and standing for extended periods. - Exposure to typical classroom noise levels.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
