F-35 Maintenance Analyst/Data Technician (Journeyman)
Andromeda Systems Incorporated (ASI) provides tools and services to assist Physical Asset Owners, Fleet Managers, and Military Program Managers in gaining critical insights into their equipment’s performance, identifying system improvements, optimizing operations and support, making better business decisions, and achieving measurable life-cycle cost savings.
ASI is seeking a Junior Analyst/Data Technician to work in Arlington, VA. This position supports the F-35 Maintenance Value Stream (MxVS), F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO). The mission of the MxVS is to provide a data-driven process to optimize the baseline maintenance plan through continual Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), cost benefit analysis, system performance, and feedback from the F-35 Enterprise.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with logistics/engineering teams for concurrence on all related activities involving F-35 Air Vehicle Systems
* Maintain various working documents for the Maintenance (MX) Value Stream Lead involving the Triage-Maintenance Planning Change Board process
* Monitor progression and status of Maintenance Planning Change (MPC) projects while ensuring logistics elements and supportability considerations are thoroughly scheduled and tracked
* Perform Configuration Management (CM) reviews to ensure repair operations are optimally maintained
* Identify Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and maintenance policy options and conduct cost/benefit trade-off analysis of policy options
* Recommend improvements to existing maintenance concepts, procedures, and handling requirements
* Conduct data modeling reviews and analysis of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Specialized Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs), Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOMs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and field-level data documents
* Assist in the development of presentations on program status, accomplishments, and progress to all levels of Department of Defense (DoD)
* Assist in the coordination of information and development of Sustainment Integrated Product Team (IPT) task and duty automation
* Create briefing charts used to analyze results, reduce logistics support costs, increase availability of equipment, and minimize the total life cycle cost
* Communicate updates on status information, support equipment, and estimated completion dates on each of the various MPCs for the F-35
* Provide support to Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) Senior Logistics Analyst and clients by populating model input data utilizing Microsoft Excel
* Establish task priorities, schedule and track work assignments, provide guidance, and ensure availability of resources for the Maintenance Planning Team
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in relevant field
o Four years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for degree
* Familiarity with acquisition Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), logistics support/supportability analysis, or operational availability
* Familiarity with Logistics Supportability Analysis (LSA), Logistics Product Data (LPD), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), and other Supportability Analyses
* Ability to work in a team environment and interact directly with clients
* Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products to include Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
* Willingness to travel
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
* Able to obtain a Secret Clearance
