As AMO (Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul) Electronic Technician, you will be providing high-quality maintenance services to our customers at their field locations across the UK and within Europe. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects and develop innovations. You will contribute to the success of a large team that plays an integral part in our business.
As an Electronic Technician you are responsible for:
1. Review procedures for assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy.
2. Configure test stations and systems.
3. Analyze and interpret data from environmental tests and troubleshoot equipment problems.
4. Assist in the set-up of experiments and the recordings of experimental data in collaboration with Engineering and Reliability groups.
5. Test and evaluate the performance and if required, repair general purpose test equipment.
6. Diagnosing instruments, performing analytical troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of electrical and/or electronic systems.
7. Developing, testing and debugging firmware for Microprocessor/Micro-controller/DSP system.
8. Evaluating, selecting and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.
9. Developing specifications, process study, research investigations, and report preparation.
10. Providing technical guidance to designers/drafters and less experienced engineers as required.
11. Providing technical leadership in developing solutions and/or devising new approaches to problems encountered.
To be successful in this role you will:
1. Have proven experience working as an Electronics Engineer or Electronics Technician.
2. Have a diploma or Associates degree in Electrical field.
3. Have ATEX certification.
4. Have good working knowledge of single phase and three phase AC power distribution systems.
