We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager Strategic Programme Office to join us whilst we transform our organisation. You’ll be a crucial part of our One Plan Transformation Programme delivery. Your role will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of the programme by ensuring effectiveness through the transformation programme, providing senior stakeholders an overview of the progress, risks, challenges and opportunity within investment budget to maximise the customer, commercial and colleague outcomes for the society. This role is a hybrid role based in our Leeds based Broadgate office and sits as part of our Change Delivery senior management team.
About the Role
In your role as Senior Manager Strategic Programme Office, you will:
* Lead, manage and deliver One Plan in line with the organisations strategic plan whilst ensuring quality and cost are considered.
* Oversight of Portfolio level costs, schedule, risks, and benefit delivery ensuring intervention actions initiated as required.
* Own YBS change framework, responsible for setting the framework, controls, and standards for YBS.
* Responsible for quality assurance of benefit realisation plans as part of the sign off process.
* Accountable to the Change Board for the tracking and reporting on benefit delivery.
* Design effective operation of key controls which underpin successful Portfolio and Project management.
* Lead and manage PMO activities covering both Portfolio and individual project/programme support.
* Development of management information which supports enhanced decision making, prevent project failures and enable opportunities to be realised.
About You
* Strong experience leading and developing a Portfolio Management Office function with annual spend of up to £100m.
* Senior level skills and experience of leading collaborative activity with executive teams and senior managers to review and prioritise project activities and in developing detailed business case submissions.
* Significant experience of undertaking robust diagnostic and discovery activity and business analysis activity.
* Skills and experience in delivering the key components of Air Traffic Control for effective management of the portfolio view.
