Job Advertisement: Electrical Project Manager
Location: Swanmore (Office or Site-Based)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Benefits: 22 days holiday, company vehicle, and potential for overtime
Are you an experienced Electrical professional looking to step into a leadership role? We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in electrical installation, project management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning: Ensure that each project is meticulously planned, with all necessary materials and resources available to meet deadlines.
2. Job Setup: Interpret drawings and specifications to establish project requirements, ensuring compliance with standards and testing systems for certification.
3. Health & Safety: Assist in the preparation and implementation of health and safety measures on all projects.
4. Site Visits: Regularly attend site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
5. Estimating & Tendering: Assist in the estimation and tendering process for the electrical elements of projects.
6. Team Leadership: Accept responsibility for job completion, supervise operatives, and liaise with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers as needed.
7. Workload Management: Oversee your own workload and manage the electrical team and sub-contractors to ensure client commitments are met, even in a fast-paced environment.
8. Flexible Working: Be prepared to work weekends or out-of-hours when required.
9. Project Oversight: Oversee and manage small project work, including commissioning and testing electrical systems and issuing relevant certification.
10. Quality Control: Ensure the electrical team adheres to the highest standards in all aspects of their work.
Requirements:
1. Completed a registered apprenticeship or equivalent.
2. Trained to 18th Edition standard.
3. Qualified to NVQ Level 3.
4. C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing certified.
5. SMSTS training.
6. Full clean driving license.
7. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
8. Hardworking with a willingness to travel.
9. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
