Head of System Delivery (more focused on Engineering side) Microsoft System Administrator, Project Management, Microsoft Server, Hardware, Software, ATC Bournemouth, Dorset (3 days onsite) travel globally to customers expensed by company £60,000 - £65,000 Are you a seasoned Systems Delivery professional with a passion for aviation simulation and training? We're seeking a highly skilled Head of System Delivery (focused on Engineering & SW Delivery) to join a dynamic team and oversee the entire system delivery lifecycle. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of my client's innovative solutions to clients worldwide within ATM (Air Traffic Control) In this varied role, one minute you could be installing a Desktop from the HQ in Bournemouth to doing a simulation project for a customer in EU, or the UAE, or North Africa, installing and troubleshooting 300 nodes, projectors and servers. In this position, you will be expected to travel 100-150 days in a year, so the person we hire for this role needs to be comfortable doing this. Of course, travel is expensed, and you will always be staying at a minimum 4 star hotel, and travelling business class when going to the Middle East and some parts of the EU. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of technical experts. Oversee the design, procurement, build, delivery, and installation of hardware and software solutions. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate project delivery. Provide on-site support for customer installations. Manage vendor relationships and oversee export and import processes. Ensure adherence to quality standards and industry best practices. Contribute to the development of new products and services. Key Requirements Strong technical background in IT hardware, networking, and software deployment. Microsoft System Administrator or similar qualification Efficient and comfortable working with Windows and doing Networking You have a recognisable Project Management qualification Track record in doing Microsoft Server build, deployment and troubleshooting Strong in doing Windows virtualisation, design and implementation You've done IT Hardware purchases, stock management and export control management Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients. A passion for aviation and a keen eye for detail.
