Our client, a prestigious mail order and online retailer known for its unique blend of tradition and innovation, is looking for a Buying Assistant in Homewares. In the role of Homewares Buying Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:
Writing engaging and well-crafted product descriptions
Resolving warehouse or customer queries regarding quality issues or additional information
To be considered for the role of a Buying Assistant, you must have the following skills and experience:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
Office-based administrative experience
A confident and articulate phone manner
A full driving licence and own car
Reporting to the Senior Homewares Buyer, the Buying Assistant will be responsible for helping to deliver a range of homewares. From domestic textiles to hard goods and toiletries, you’ll be responsible for ensuring a diverse product range, tailored to our client’s customer base, managing the critical path from concept to product launch.
