Business Development Representative United Kingdom (Hybrid) Job Description
Telent is looking for a new addition to the Sales & Marketing team as part of the Network Services division. We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Business Development Representative to join our team and help build and develop relationships within the Emergency Services, Public Sector, Government, Utilities, and Nuclear sectors. This role involves working through a Telent training plan and collaborating with our Warwick and Camberley offices at least one day per week, alternating weekly.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll play a multi-faceted role crucial to Telent’s go-to-market strategy. As you grow in this role, we’ll help you map out a career path at Telent for years to come.
BDR - Responsibilities:
* Gain comprehensive knowledge of Telent, our offerings, and the markets we serve to educate prospects.
* Work closely with the Sales team to support the sales pipeline by researching target accounts and key stakeholders.
* Create and coordinate campaigns for prospect accounts based on territory research.
* Perform targeted outreach via calls, emails, social media, and creative efforts to generate interest and promote our services.
* Follow up on inbound leads from marketing to convert them into meetings and new business opportunities.
* Analyze and report on weekly activities and pipeline efforts.
BDR - Ideal Candidate:
We seek candidates who are resilient, driven, self-motivated, and practical. Experience in a sales environment, especially outbound sales, and the ability to generate and identify new leads are essential. Familiarity with business tools for targeting customers is required. Experience from other industries is welcomed. A university degree or equivalent, with some office experience, is preferred.
