The Role
This role will be central to our next phase of growth, and critical to our success in our home market, the UK. Let’s Do This provides the technology for Event Organisers putting on mass participation endurance events including: event registration, fundraising and charity management, merchandise, memberships, corporate management, CRM, data infrastructure and more for Event Organisers (EOs) putting on mass participation endurance events. Fundamentally we are a tech platform designed to deliver growth (not least, but not exclusively, through our marketplace for participants to discover and book events), and we want our EOs to understand and extract that value.
You will work closely with these event organisers to help them get the most out of our platform. You will need to be a personable problem solver for these event organisers as they put on fantastic races across the country. You will be the voice of the customer, influencing our product roadmap, as well as making the most out of our existing solutions.
These relationships require care and a commitment to the organisers’ mission and internal systems and processes they use to run their business. You will be responsible for owning the clear flow of communication between the EO and LDT to 1) help the organiser understand how to use functionality that is inside our platform to meet their needs and 2) help coordinate new work in partnership with our product development team that is critical to the organiser’s success. You’ll need to excel at managing multiple stakeholder relationships both on the client side and inside of LDT, technical and non-technical; as well as multiple accounts at one time. This role requires extreme attention to detail and an ability to manage complex technical implementations and partnerships with EOs.
You’ll be reporting into the UK Lead Technical Account Manager, but will support many stakeholders cross functionally. This role will be based in London, and we have an office-first culture, with Tuesdays to Thursdays spent in our Regent’s Park office. Additionally, there might be opportunities to spend time working in an Organiser’s office, to help ensure a close and effective working partnership with core stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Serve as a strategic technical advisor, ensuring partners maximize value from our platform and achieve their growth objectives.
* For your Organisers (EOs), you will log, track and drive forward their deliverables, ensuring you give continuous prioritised feedback to influence our product roadmap to support their goals, and the goals of our wider EO base.
* Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), providing analysis and recommendations to optimize partner success.
* Provide continuous and effective training and support for your EOs, ensuring our partners have a clear understanding of how to use our product and how it fits with their internal processes and supports their needs.
* Measure account performance and identify areas for improvement on an ongoing basis, always seeking to improve our processes and outcomes.
* Assist with troubleshooting to identify bugs and defects, logging these and ensuring internal product teams understand impact and can prioritise accordingly, while making sure your EOs and your team have a workaround in the short term.
* Staying up to date with your EOs’ priorities and goals, ensuring you champion their needs, while pushing back when laundry list requirement requests start to creep in. You’ll make sure their goals remain the priority and neither party gets distracted from achieving those.
* Mentoring the team around you, using your experience to ensure best practices are implemented and being ready to deputise for the Lead Technical Account Manager as required.
