Our client is Seeking a SEND Teaching assistant to work on a longterm, part-time basis, from 8:30 – 1pm each day. The ideal candidate will be supporting a young child with suspected autism and speech and language needs in a reception class. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your role will include: Supporting a non-verbal child in Reception, using the Birth to Five framework. Encouraging engagement with classroom activities tailored to their needs. Applying knowledge of the Early Years curriculum to foster learning. Collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure consistent support. Using your experience with autism to provide patient and effective care. Promoting inclusion in a welcoming Primary School environment. Required Skills and Experience Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. Previous UK school experience, especially in Early Years (EYFS). Familiarity with the Birth to Five framework. Proven ability to support children with autism and non-verbal needs. As a SEND Teaching Assistant with Flourish Education, you’ll receive: £58.86 to £68.13 a day (£11,477.70 to £13,285.35 per annum based on five days a week).
