Seniority Level: Associate Primary purpose and function of position: Reporting to the Packaging (Technical Services) FLM, this role will be responsible for completing activities and tasks within the Planning team. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Deployment of new and existing operating practices across the department Ensures preventive and corrective maintenance delivery to the site Creates Work Orders from Work Requests for all plant and fabric maintenance Distributes copies of applicable sketches, work orders, EHS documents, and work lists to the Technical Services Shift FLMs Analyzes and plans internal and external resources, materials and outside services to complete requirements on a Work Order Creates and distributes daily/ weekly maintenance schedules to FLMs Ensures Work Orders are closed when completed Attends production meetings in Brewing or Packaging as required by the schedule of meetings and gives feedback on maintenance tasks Ensures integrity and accuracy of the maintenance management system, including equipment history, labor tracking, parts usage Compiles intervention reports to identify follow-up work Creates and publishes maintenance performance reports Follows up on emergency deliveries and repairs Advises on Preventive Maintenance inspections and SOP development for both existing and new equipment Updates BOM for spare parts Raises PR requests for the ordering of required parts aligned to CWC policy Plans and schedules all overhaul activities Supports continuous improvement and root cause analysis processes through use of VPO methods i.e. PDCA Manages housekeeping & hygiene within his area Interfaces with external suppliers as required and manages the action logs per supplier Assists with capital projects as required Contributes to the identification of improvement plans as reviewed during the daily, weekly and monthly meetings processes Liaises with suppliers to source spare parts and new equipment, and to reduce costs Assists in the development of the long-term maintenance strategy Investigates and resolves issues within the Maintenance Management System (discrepancies with costs etc.) Development of a strong cohesive team Works collaboratively to optimize cooperation between departments, and celebrates successes Actively seeks feedback and monitors progress against plans Control of cost and budget Ensures cost optimisation across all areas of the department Contributes to implementing strategic concepts to reduce costs and increase service levels Shares responsibility for maintenance cost performance Quality, Environment, Health and Safety and compliance to standards Ensures all activities are in adherence to SLA’s and local governance Develops and promotes safe working practices Ensures compliance with all company and legal obligations Ensures continuous improvement to consumption of energy and utilities within the department Manages appropriate SLA’s to ensure quality standards and specifications are maintained Ensures area maintenance workshops and surrounding areas are maintained Manages ES for area according to ES guidelines Identifies and communicates appropriate safety precautions including internal and external risk assessments Key Skills, Knowledge & Competencies: Good record of delivering process improvement Excellent knowledge of manufacturing principles, tools and techniques and project management principles through VPO methodology Demonstrates negotiation skills Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Technical Qualification preferred ie HNC/HND Engineering Flexibility Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong influencer, able to challenge management and staff where appropriate Highly results focused, with strong attention to detail Excellent team player, able to develop strong relationships with colleagues and peers Able to work on own initiative and to prioritize workload effectively Acts as a role model for the ten principles, and ensures that the culture within the department is aligned to the ten principles Has strong organisation skills, and uses a highly structured and systematic approach in order to deliver business solutions to deadlines In-depth knowledge of SAP Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent knowledge of Stores operation and purchase ordering
