Job summary We are looking to recruit a part-time receptionist to join our busy practice. The post holder will be the first point of contact for patients, contractors, and visitors as well as be responsible for the general administrative and reception duties within the Practice. Main duties of the job The post holder should be able to work with our established processes, policies and procedures to provide a comprehensive high-quality service and deal efficiently and courteously with patient enquiries. They will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate and friendly nature who can operate in a busy environment with a range of people and clinical staff. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, an effective communicator and flexible - who can provide a professional and courteous service to our patients and who maintains professionalism and confidentiality. IT skills are also essential, as you will be regularly using software and booking systems.You will also process prescription requests and provide a full administrative and secretarial service.
