The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to join our Sales team and drive high-impact growth initiatives with key industry clients. This is a senior-level role for a dynamic professional who excels in managing complex, high-stakes deals and building long-term partnerships with major corporate players. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market dynamics and the ability to influence decision-making at the highest levels. Key Accountabilities:
* Lead business development efforts with high-profile, strategic industry clients, developing tailored solutions to meet their business objectives and growth strategies.
* Formulate and execute long-term strategic plans aimed at securing large, multi-year contracts and complex partnerships with key industry players.
* Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and senior stakeholders, delivering insightful market analysis, strategic recommendations and bespoke business solutions.
* Oversee the entire sales cycle of high-value deals, including lead identification, relationship building, negotiations, closing and delivery, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial and strategic goals.
* Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to shape overall business development strategy, ensuring alignment with broader corporate objectives.
* Drive revenue growth by expanding footprint in key markets and identifying new opportunities for expansion.
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and industry challenges to proactively position the company as a market leader.
* Foster strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, repeat business, and contract renewals.
* Serve as a mentor and leader to junior business development team members, providing guidance, training, and support to help them achieve their potential.
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, positioning NCC Group as a thought leader and trusted partner in the industry.
Minimum Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience in senior business development roles, with a proven track record of managing and closing large-scale, strategic deals in the UK market.
* Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at C-suite and executive levels.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to identify new business opportunities, create comprehensive growth plans, and lead high-value negotiations.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring junior team members and collaborating across departments.
* Extensive knowledge of CRM systems, business intelligence tools, and financial modelling to assess opportunities.
* Experience working with Fortune 500 companies, major industry clients, or large corporate enterprises.
* Deep understanding of industry-specific regulations, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape.
