£4,742.20 per annum (full time equivalent £22,130.24 per annum)
We’re recruiting a Chelmsford Kitchen Assistant on a temporary basis for the Students’ Union at ARU, to start as soon as possible. In this role you will assist in providing food to our customers within our fast-paced café, providing great customer service and creating a friendly, welcoming environment.
The working pattern for this role is 6 hours per day, Monday-Friday. The post-holder must be available to work between 10:30am-2pm, but there is flexibility around the start and finish times.
What you will be doing
* Assisting with day-to-day kitchen tasks including daily food preparation and cooking food items.
* Providing outstanding customer service at all times and promoting the values of the Students’ Union.
* Helping to create a friendly atmosphere within the Students’ Union space.
* Keeping the kitchen clean and presentable at all times.
* Reporting any maintenance issues or health and hygiene concerns to line management as soon as possible.

* Customer-focused with the ability to work with a range of people.
